Vineyard: The vineyards are located southwestern Sicily, rooted in soils characterized by a sandy and clayey, mineral-rich base, known as Terra Grande - we are located between 250 and 600 meters above sea level in a place that experiences high maximum temperatures, tempered by strong winds.

Varietal composition: Nero d'Avola & Syrah

Vinification: At harvest, the natural dehydration of the grapes is achieved by the technique of cutting the vine shoots, which leads to slow concentration. Subsequently, maceration and long fermentation with temperature control are carried out, followed by maturation for 4 months in oak barrels.

Tasting notes: Bright red colour with purple reflections. The aromas are intense and fruity on the nose, cherry and plum jam, with notes of dried flowers mixed with cherry jam, plums and sweet notes of candied fruit. Dry, warm and persistent on the palate, characterized by soft tannins and a fruity aftertaste.

Pairs with: Ideal as an aperitif, smoked tuna, pizza, pasta with tomato sauce.

Serve at: 11-13 °C

Ageing: 2-4 years.
