Vineyard: Single vineyard Chardonnay, at an altitude of 300-330 meters The vines have an average age of 30 years and with particularly low yields per hectare (350kg). Soils are clay-sandy and non-irrigated.
Vinification: After fermentation and maturation for 8 months in French oak barrels, using the batonnage method, the wine remains for 12+ months in bottle.
Tasting notes: Intense aromas, tropical fruit, almond, butter, toasted bread and vanilla. Flavors with complexity. Buttery, obvious sense of wood and toast, which blend with tropical fruit and pear. Creamy texture, full body, lively acidity and long finish.
A Chardonnay with a lot of character, as its name suggests.
Pairs with: Smoked white meats, white meats with rich butter and nut sauces, semi-hard yellow cheeses.
Enjoy at: 11-13ºC
