Product description
Vineyard: Karystos, South Evia
Vinification: Hand-harvested grapes are left to sun-dry in a traditional way for 9 to 14 days under the hot sun of Karystos in order to evaporate the juice and concentrate sugar, acidity and flavors. After the sun drying period, grapes are put into a pneumatic press and ferment into stainless steel tanks for one month. They spend five years in the oak barrels and one year in the bottle before the wine is released in the market.
Tasting Notes: Complex bouquet with aromas of dried fruits, chocolate, caramel, espresso coffee and nuts. Luscious on the palate with the acidity levels perfectly balanced. Long aftertaste.
Ageing potential: Suitable for extended cellaring.
