Vineyard: The grapes come from cooperating vine growers who follow BPDR standards. The selection is made from the entire Sauternes region.
Varietal Composition:
Semillon: Roundness and refinement
Sauvignon Blanc: Fresh and fruity aromas and flavours
Muscadelle: Distinctive aromatic character
Vinification: The grapes, rich in sugars, are picked manually and successively during the harvest so that they all have the necessary level of ripeness. The grapes are lightly pressed, followed by fermentation.
Tasting Notes: In aspect resplendent golden yellow. The nose opens on yellow stone fruit aromas, such as peach and apricot, and a refreshing hint of verbena, joined with airing by a touch of toast. The attack in the mouth is smooth and harmonious, with marvellously defined fruit (stewed peach and apricot), leading into a full mid-palate and a fresh, mineral finish.
Pairs with: foie gras, blue cheeses, desserts with syrup and vanilla.
Serving temperature: 6-8°c
