Vineyard: The vineyards are located in the municipality of Cenicero in the department of Rioja Alta. For the Crianza, vineyards aged 20 to 25 years are selected, aiming a pure fruity character. The soil is clay with a calcareous substrate.
Vinification: Red vinification in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature. The wine is then kept in French oak barrels for 12 months and then in bottle for 14 months.
Characteristics: Medium ruby red colour with greyish highlights. The nose is medium, with a strong fruity character with small forest fruits, elegant floral aromas and vanilla from the barrel. The palate is dry, with medium acidity, soft and round tannins. The body is medium with notes of roasted coffee and cocoa aromas on the finish.
Enjoy at 16°C.
Pair with: Ideal for fried meat such as meatballs and pastitsio.
Ageing: 8-10 years from harvest.
