Biblinos is produced from an unidentified red variety, originally found in the area of Pangeon. After years of research and DNA testing, it turns out to be an old variety that is nonidentical to any modern Greek or foreign grape. The wine is as fascinating as its story.
Vineyard: The privately owned vineyard of Ktima Biblia Chora encompasses an area of about 65 ha and has been organically farmed since day one. The vineyard encircles the estate and is located at an altitude of 380 metres above sea level, drawing the eye to the Aegean Sea in the distance.
Tasting Notes: It is a delightfully scented wine made from grapes picked by caring hands. It is delicately perfumed and offers flavours of red summer fruits, such as cherry and raspberry, and citrus. Ever so well crafted, this is a fleshy dry rosé with great structure that strikes an excellent balance between sweetness and acidity. Its fruity character dominates until the end.
Paired With: It is a great accompaniment to oriental dishes, poultry with fruit sauce and all kinds of pies.
Enjoy it at: 8-10°C
